A group of Travellers have set up camp in Morrisons car park. They have blocked off access to part of the car park with a caravan and taken over about twenty spaces.

Security staff at Morrisons said they had reason to believe that they are selling Puppy's to people that want one.

Several dogs were seen sheltering under the caravans from the hot sun.

A private car park open to the public, surely Morrisons can do what they want to get rid of the freeloading scrotes!!

Selling dogs? Do they have a trading licence? Are the dogs chipped? I believe they are selling underage dogs which is very cruel. Surely the Police can act on this.
There has been a huge increase in dogs being smuggled into the UK from across borders without having the necessary medical checks or with forged animal passports.

I have little doubt the myopic police and the equally useless Sefton Council will ignore them.

They can only do what the law allows them to do and as the courts aren't open at the weekend they won't be able to evict them until Monday. They can issue them with parking invoices though but of course everyone on here always advises everyone to ignore parking invoices.

Would the RSPCA not be interested in the welfare of the dogs. They seem able to seize dogs that are not being looked after or are being sold illegally??

Different rules and laws for these scumbags, surely these freeloading crooks should be treated as they treat others, in other words moved on physically if needed, in the past this has been done on industrial and agricultural land before police, council or any one else gets involved.

Before anyone starts ranting about key board warriors, some time past went to the aid along with others of a local farmer, surprisingly that gang after initially telling the farmer to F off, suddenly decided to go when a number of people turned up driving heavy equipment and just let the scum know that they had the choice to move or be moved.

what the travellers were doing is a criminal offence. The offence is aggravated trespass. If I was the Boss of Morrisons I would prosecute the police for not carrying out there responsibilities. The Police must prevent crime and if a crime has been committed charge the criminals , without favour or mallace. I read the Police whant big camps for travellers paid by the Tax payer says it all.

Taking the report at face value and the history of similar encampments it most certainly is and will be to do with Sefton Council,

perhaps I should caveat that with a mythical competent proactive Sefton council.

The Council will only be involved when they decide Morrisons have had sufficient time to move them on, then they will be able to take action against Morrisons.
