A group of Travellers have sat up camp on Princes Park close to the old zoo.It is not clear how they gained access as the entrance has a locked barrier across.

Simple, it's called a Bolt Cutter.

Just get shut of them, after extracting money to pay for the clean-up, after all they haven't paid for clean-ups before and they don't pay council tax or income tax.
Better still set-up an encampment for them in the south of the borough.
Then they'll be nearer to the Council Offices, the Copy Lane Police Station and
Magistrates Court if they require or are required to visit any of these premises.

We need the law altered so that a court order on a piece of land remains in force for say ten years. Then if groups arrive, they can be moved on without having to go back to the courts, and costing us money. It should also allow councils/land owners to seize property to cover costs. But of course the bleeding liberal PC brigade will be weeping tears at the very thought of it. That is until they camp outside their front doors. Perhaps Sefton (And other councils) should be bringing pressure on our MPs to alter the law.
