There aren't any. The Government has cut the budgets.

At the very least there should be CCTV in the town centre?

  6. Wehadabeach says:02/11/2018 03:33 PM
Only chance of catching them is if they do over 20mph getting there or away! With the number of speed vans about they would have no chance!

They are too busy responding to people dropping litter

Myself and the current Mrs gazaprop were on our way to the theatre last night when we saw the latest gang of 'hellcats' in a shop doorway on Cambridge Arcade.
None of them could have been over 15/16 yet the array of cheap booze they were tucking into would have shamed a squaddie!
On our way back, emboldened by the drink, they were running about whooping and cheering around Chapel and Tulketh Streets - at that time it seemed nothing more than high spirits - we can but hope.
Each time we passed along through town I saw no Police Officers or PCSO's.

Some aspects of pedestrianisation are not always beneficial, remove traffic, after shoppers leave it too often becomes a playground for the stupid and lawless groups.

The ****less parents should be held accountable.

Not sure why letters have been substituted for asterisks - fe ck less is NOT a profanity.
Dictionary definition: "lacking initiative or strength of character; irresponsible."

Bizarre comprehension of the English language, Q-Local!

By 6pm last night (Saturday) Chapel Street (and surrounding area) was like a scene from The Warriors; dark and empty, save for the huge gangs of roving feral youths. It's no wonder that each day brings news of fresh crime and destruction; they've had run of the town for years now, and still do. Good luck to anyone or anything crossing their path at the wrong time.

Hardline zero-tolerance policing or vigilante action are the only realistic solutions, and sadly the former is highly unlikely.
