Officers from the Southport Local Policing Team responded to reports of damage being caused at the Atkinson Centre yesterday evening, 25th October. As a result, a 13 year old boy from Ainsdale was verified and taken home. An investigation into the damage caused is under way.
Police will be out again in the town centre and across the wider Southport area tonight, as usual.

Did his parents know where he was ? And if not why not.
Will his parents be paying for the damage caused by their child?

Do you think there will be a positive reply to those questions, I certainly doubt it but if they were FORCED to pay for any damage and FORCED to do their job and raise the little scrote properly then there would be some satisfaction but of course they WON'T. He'll be out causing trouble again probably the following day.

"verified and taken home" well that'll teach him won't it! Could have at least locked him in the cells for the night.
Nothing will happen, just like all the other vandalism to public property like Kings Gardens, The Pier, Town Hall, Bandstand, Bedford Park and the empty old folks home and day centres in Sandbrook Road. As far as the police are concerned they're victimless crimes because the council (and therefore us) will pick up the bill.
And it's mostly kids from Ainsdale causing the vast majority of all this vandalism from what I'm reliably informed. And they'll keep on doing it if the worst that will happen to them is a free lift home.

Its not rocket science is it?
If a kid commits an offence charge the parents as if it was them = sudden interest in what kids are upto..
If a persons dog fouls the pavement or attacks/bites someone the owner/handler is charged as the culprit can't be...
Whats the differance, its all about a failure to train your animal lol
