A 24 year old man from Southport was one of two people arrested after a stolen BMW was boxed in on the East Lancs Road by Police.

The driver of the vehicle hit a Police Car and damaged street furniture in a bid to make an escape.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and aggravated taking of a motor vehicle.

A sharp slap on his legs will sort him out then let him out on his way. He won't do that again. NOT. justice system is pathetic. Poor owner of the car gets nothing just a bill for his excess. Scumbag should be made to pay for all damage incurred to all party's and compensation for all the greaf all will go through. Dream on.
