The Apprenticeship Star Awards, held at Clouds Restaurant in Southport College saw Apprentices from a wide range of sectors commended for exceptional effort and commitment to their course.



Over a delicious three course meal, 18 awards were presented to Apprentices from the Visitor Economy, Construction, Engineering and Motor Vehicle Trades, Business, Accounting & Management and Health & Childcare sectors, commending their hard work and success throughout their Apprenticeships. In addition, Employer awards were presented to Artelier Hair Formby, Liverpool Women’s Hospital and Ramada Plaza Southport with Enda Rylands from Ramada Plaza Southport concluding the evening with a key note speech.

Pat Byrne, Head of Business Development at Southport College said “This was our second year of hosting the Apprenticeship Star Awards and again it was a highly successful event. It was great to see so many Apprentices being recognised for their efforts and successes and it demonstrates how important Apprenticeships are in developing the workforce across so many sectors.”
