Sefton Council is joining organisations across the UK to raise awareness of child sexual exploitation (CSE).

Taking place March 18, CSE Awareness Day is organised by the NWG, a network linking professionals who provide the best responses for issues relating to child abuse and sexual exploitation.

As part of the national event, Sefton Council is signposting professionals and volunteers working with children to criminal exploitation workshops being hosted by Sefton’s Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB). The next workshop takes place 24 April at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre.

The hashtag to use on CSE Awareness Day is #CSEDay18.
