Sefton Advanced Motorcyclists, today presented the Queenscourt Hospice with a cheque for £228.00.
During 2017 the group run advanced motorcycle riding Courses structured by the IAM/Roadsmart. The 22 strong Observers Team donate their Fuel funds of £5 each , which is collected and added up at the end of the year.
This is then split between 3 charities which the group nominate. Gratefully accepting the cheque is Lucy Smith, part of the Fundraising team at the Hospice and representing the SAM bike section , Chief Observer Brain Dring along with the chairman Barry Hesketh.
The very successful group run three courses throughout the year ,currently they are recruiting riders for course Two. Both male and female riders are more than welcome , free assessment rides are available and there is currently big discounts for local riders under the age of 35.
