Seema Kennedy MP for South Ribble spent a day out on patrol with the South Ribble Police.
She joined the team from the Leyland station to experience frontline policing as part of the national 'Give a Day to Policing' scheme. She spent the day discussing their duties, the demands of the job and encountering first-hand the duties of a Police Constable.
Seema Kennedy MP said “It was a pleasure to join the Leyland rapid response team today and be out and about on patrol with them. I thoroughly enjoyed my day, and I would like to thank South Ribble Police and PC Devereux for the very insightful day into the tremendous work that the Police do to keep us safe here in South Ribble."
