The emergency services were called to Shore Road in Hesketh Bank this morning (23 October) after a female driver lost control of her car.

Fortunately there were no serious injuries and the driver was freed by the emergency services.

No news, no surprise with this. The road has always been a "racetrack" for as long as I can remember, long straight, not a great deal of traffic most of the time, so yippee put your clog down and feel the wind blowing through your hair.

Till, oops you forget you can't handle a car at speed and the ditch and hedges is your next encounter.

This one it seems was lucky! Still, on the insurance eh.
