Police have issued a CCTV still of a man they would like to speak to following a theft from an ATM outside McColls Store on James Street in Southport.
At around 10am on 7th August, a 70 y/o woman has withdrawn cash from the ATM. Unfortunately, she forgot to take the money & left. After realising shortly after, she went back to the ATM but the money has since been taken.
Police believe this man could have vital info that could help us return the cash to the woman - so if you recognise him, please get in touch via 101 or DM @MerPolCC quoting: 18200164975.

I was thinking the same as I know the person who had their money taken and I know the Police have had this footage since day one.

It's actually nearly 2 months.
I've commented before about this delay in releasing CCTV - the police may want the public on board, but only appealing for information as a last resort is an insult.
