Police are asking the public for your help to find a stolen dolls house!
Thieves are reported to have forced their way into a home in Colville Street, Wavertree and stolen an intricately hand crafted dolls house from an elderly woman.
The house has significant sentimental value to the owners as it was designed and built by their late grandad before he died.
The heartbroken family, say their grandad spent years putting the pieces together, painting the walls and purchasing the furniture as a gift for his wife, meaning the house is “irreplaceable” and sadly the “last thing they have left of him”.
The one of a kind 1700s style dolls house is described as being very big, having between 10-12 rooms, a hinged front that lifts up, handmade individual staircases and a tapestry created from individual pictures.
If you spot a dolls house matching the description on a buy/sell website, take the details and let us know – contact @MerPolCC or call 101 quoting crime ref: 18200035103 - help us return the house to its rightful owner.

I hope they catch these cowards. Next on Line Toy Auction is on 10th March, need to keep a watch on all the auctions. Has the unfortunate lady had some repairs carried out on her house lately, or anyone visiting?
