Vandals struck overnight at Southport Pleasureland smashing the door in at the Helter Skelter ride.

Pictured is the what owner Norman Wallis was met with this morning which will now direct valuable resources away from scheduled work to repair this.

Norman said "it is hard enough running a business in the town when we have such vandalism and sadly I have to say that this is a regular occurrence".

If anyone knows anything about this incident please email any details to hello@southportpleasureland.com

Easiest solution! Put it back in the fairground area. If you knew Southport. you would know it is in the wrong location - it was only a matter of time after it had been moved there. We all thought Mr. Wallis had intended to treat the local youths when he moved it. Add to that the cutting back of all the trees and shrubs, many of which were of scientific importance - leaving the area wide open to view for the outside youth tourists - well?

Which planet are you on ? This ride has never been moved from Pleasureland as far as I know,as it looks like it is the original ride, which has been there for decades....I stand to be corrected if this has been moved from where it used to be situated, which,as far as I knew, was inside of the Pleasureland area.
