Southport police are investigating a theft from a car in the Forest Road/Lansdown Road area of Southport which took place overnight, between midnight and 07:00am on Thursday 21st March.
From initial enquiries by PCSO's the theft occurred possibly around 01:30am and we believe the offenders may have tried other vehicles in the same area, which have not yet been reported to us.
CCTV enquiries have been made and homes in the immediate vicinity will have had a letter delivered, appealing for CCTV. If you haven't had a letter but have CCTV which may assist the enquiry, please contact us on 101 and quote crime refence number 24000272795.
Always ensure that you have fully locked your vehicle when parked up overnight and remove all items of value and tools etc.
