A total of 39 people were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, 25 July) on day nine of Operation Hunted, taking the total to 323.
‘Operation Hunted’, is now in its second week and the force is continuing to put the pressure on named offenders on Merseyside wanted for various offences, including those who may have been involved in serious crimes, are linked evidentially to live investigations, or have breached the terms of their release from prison.
You can continue to follow the progress of the operation by using the hashtag #OpHunted on social media and we continue to encourage the public to come forward with information. The operation is force-wide and includes local police officers and PCSOs, detectives, Roads Policing units, specialist search teams, the Cannabis Dismantling Team, and Matrix officers.
