Bickerstock, the annual free music festival that takes place in Bickerstaffe on the first weekend in August, is back again!

Its aim - promoting live music, bringing the local community together, and raising money for local charities and good causes.

And with local bands and musicians playing for free at the parish field on Church Road, it's the perfect opportunity to get the true festival experience in the heart of a family-friendly community.

Starting at noon on both days, find the band line up on www.bickerstock.org - open mic slots available on Saturday.

The festival only happens because of the commitment of volunteers - everyone who helps over the weekend does it on a voluntary basis and as we are always in need of willing volunteers, why not get in touch via the website or social media, it’s always a fun experience and many lasting friendships have been made over the years.
