Merseyside Police is appealing for the public's help in tracing a Bootle man who has not been seen since July.

Sam Higgins, aged 18 and of no fixed abode, was reported missing in early August. He was last seen in the Peterborough Drive area on Monday 18 July.

Sam is described as white, slim build, with long dark hair, tanned and with scars on his left leg and forehead. The last time he was seen, Sam was wearing a thin grey Hugo Boss top with a hood and grey knee length shorts.

He is known to frequent the Marion Square of Netherton, and has connections with Connagh's Quay in North Wales and Plymouth.

Extensive police enquiries are continuing but police and Sam's family are becoming increasingly concerned for his well-being.
