Whilst on Patrol in the Banks area Police Officers came across a scrambler bike being ridden on the road by a male.
The male was riding the bike with no helmet and was committing a number of offences.
Details of the offending male were obtained and he was given a warning and was told if he was seen again riding the vehicle in the same circumstances the motorbike would be seized and he would be liable for prosecution.
The riding of these vehicles in an anti-social manner causes distress and is dangerous to other road users. If you own such a bike please it safely and legally.
