Yes, I agree. The contractor must have taken away the used paving stones.

    What happened to them?

    Council likes spending our money.

  4. pedoja says:07/04/2018 08:29 AM
    That is disgraceful!

Hopefully the Contractors will be heavily fined and another REPUTABLE company will be employed to rectify the mess.

Council??? Surely even the most blinkered must realise this is solely the Contractors doing. THEY should be reinstating the paving in the condition they found it. For all you know it could be a Tory donating jobs for mates Utility Company brought into being by the headlong rush to privatisation. No doubt the Government will be ecstatic at the thought of everyone blindly blaming the Council for everything. Having your Cerebal Organ removed is one reason WHY I will never vote Tory. Or are you one of the couple of LibDems left?

It is the Council's job to ensure that contractors carry out the work properly and leave the street in a suitable condition. Sefton fail.

Oh right! perhaps you will furnish us with the date and time the contractors left or are the Council officials supposed to be stood there.
You seem to have a smart ar*ed answer to everything so this request will pose you no problem.

Looks like a job has been done / part done and the pavement has been 'made safe' until the job is completed or until the specialist paving team arrive.
Standard Practice for a proper job!

Why should I furnish you with anything? You must have very low standards if you think Sefton does a good job.

You really are relentless in your pursuIt of blaming the Tories for everything single thing that goes wrong in this world, you aren’t John McDonnell in disguise, are you?

The truth of the matter is that Sefton Council are hopeless at contract management.

They seem to award contracts and then forget about the quality and contract management of the work or the service!

I suspect that this is precisely what has happened but that doesn't deter the pricks who post on here from a good bit of Council bashing.
