So all those adults and children in the photograph, enjoying a summers day, are junkies and miscreant chavs?

Parent14, I do hope you are not one to some poor unfortunate kid, what a complete Richard cranium thing to spout!!!
The development around the Marine Lake, Kings Gardens etc is a really worthwhile project to regenerate the area and if that's the only type of response you can muster, then bugger off out of Town.
Sometimes you wonder why anybody bothers to improve anything when "Shite" comments/opinions spew out from tossers like you!

It's a bloody play ground and judging by the numbers on a fine day, very popular indeed, the fact that assorted morons take over in the evening says much more about the thickos who frequent the area when families have gone, than any reflection on the work done.

Isn't it meant to look a bit like a shanty town?
My grandkids love the park and surrounding areas. I've taken them on there as late as 8pm. And while there were a few teenagers hanging around, they weren't causing any problems. At least while we were there.
The place is a huge draw. The council should capitalise on that and add more facilities.
