Burscough striker Yves Zama and Fleetwood striker Gerard Garner have joined the club while midfielder Liam Hynes has departed on a free transfer to Warrington Town.

Zama joins from the Linnets on a free transfer with Garner joining on a youth loan arrangement.

18-year-old Garner began his footballing career by breaking Wayne Rooney’s goalscoring record in a single season for Liverpool Schoolboys, scoring 76 goals at 11 years old. He joined Liverpool’s academy before joining Fleetwood. He was handed a professional deal by Fleetwood in May, after impressing for Nathan Rooney’s Fleetwood U18’s.

Departing Liam Hynes made 15 league appearances for the club, playing 21 times in all competitions. The club would like to thank Liam for his contributions to the team and wish him every success in his future career.
