Floral Planters have now been installed at the corner of Nevill Street and Bath Street, Southport and have been planted up by the local Hoteliers Association and "Lord Street In Bloom".
Town Centre Councillor Tony Dawson was one of the original Lord Street 'Guerilla Gardeners' who planted out urns and planters when the Council withdrew. He says:
"This is a small but significant step by local people committed to try to maintain a vibrant visitor economy and a better environment for residents and holiday-makers alike. The hoteliers have an upward struggle and they are to be congratulated for keeping up this good work."

All the planters look nice , pity SBC can't go too such an extent every year and not just an Open Golf year.
