Newly erected fencing on the Meols Hall estate next to the Three Pools Bridge has been smashed to bits by someone driving a 4x4 vehicle.
The vehicle has been driven through the fence onto the field and then smashed its way back out before reversing into another section.
The fencing was erected to keep dog walkers and horse riders off private land after fishermen complained about the large amounts of dog fouling in the area.
Somebody has also cut the new sign warning people to keep off. A lock on the gate has also been super glued shut.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

I'd be seeking redress from the patrol and cctv monitoring co.! Which incidentally should clearly have the evidence required - if that sign is factual....!

Did you not know that dog walkers and horsey types have the absolute "right" to go anywhere they wish.
