A Dispersal Zone is in force in Southport Town Centre from 6pm this evening (17/11/17) until Sunday 19/11/17 @ 6pm, as per the attached Map.

Unfortunately it seems the amoeba who thought this pie in the sky idea up forgot the crucial part.. Are there actually more than 2 Police officers patrolling the whole town to be able to enforce this.

I will let you know tomorrow,as I will be driving around the town tonight up to about 5.00am,see how many groups are seen around the town centre areas. There were groups around the town last night, with around 15 teenagers milling about outside the KFC on Eastbank Street at 10.30pm,and other groups were by the monument, and Neville Street, with NO police in sight.

Only saw a couple of small groups hanging about last night, nothing to report, see what happens tonight,as that is usually when more teenage gangs are seen in the town centre.
