The North West Ambulance service have had a busy time in Southport town centre today.

Two Ambulances were called to The Atkinson after an elderly lady was taken seriously ill inside the building.

Another Ambulance was called to West Street after an elderly man who was on a coach trip from Leicester felt unwell.

Both patients were taken to hospital for further assessment.

Hope all are recovering well.

2 call-outs and you call that busy? I don't think so - I am sure our emergency services are much harder worked than that! Give credit where it is due.
