Advanced Level Bricklaying students from Southport College have been ‘building’ relationships with the local community! Ten students worked on a boundary wall as a charity gesture for the Samaritans.

David Valentine, Course Leader of Construction at Southport College, said, “This project was fantastic for our student’s development. They worked on every aspect of the build from developing initial risk assessments, to measuring up quantities of material and carrying out the work.

“Our students communicated professionally with staff at the Samaritans and with the general public passing by, they could not have been more of a credit to the College.”
