This year's Scarisbrick garden competition was judged by Janet Musgrove and Peter Sourbutts, both previous winners.
Pictured is the overall winner, Maria Rogers; the trophy was presented by Jane Marshall, Chairman of Scarisbrick PC.
Alongside the garden competition, Councillor Gill Holcroft ran a competition for local primary school children who all competed to grow the best sunflowers.
Pictured are the four winners (all from St Mary's Primary) l - r: Zac Fletcher, Harry Parkin, William Devers and Billy Cribb along with Councillor Holcroft.

Best overall entry - Maria Rogers (Bill Scarisbrick Memorial Trophy)
Front garden - 1 Mr and Mrs R Guy (Scarisbrick Nurseries Trophy), 2 Stephanie Grimshaw, 3 Maria Rogers
Rear Garden - 1 Maria Rogers (Alan Foxall Trophy) 2 Karen Williams, 3 Mr & Mrs R Guy
Hanging baskets/Window Boxes/Containers - 1 Angela and Robert Sumner (Scarisbrick Parish Council Trophy), 2 Maria Rogers, 3 Joseph Durrell
Best entry from a non prize winner in previous years - John Jones (Dennis Halsall Trophy)
Water feature/Garden Pond - 1 Stephanie Grimshaw (Holgate Maintenance Trophy), 2 Maria Rogers 3 Angela and Robert Sumner
Mobile Home Garden - 1 John Jones (Hurlston Hall Country Caravan Trophy), 2 Mrs Southworth, 3 John Swift
Non domestic premises (Joint winners) - 1 Heatons Bridge Inn (Turfland Trophy),
2 Master McGraths Restaurant, 3 Friends of Bescar Lane Station
