Abandoned Van In Southport (AVIS).

A red Vauxhall Combo van has been abandoned in Alma Road.The van is taxed and insured. A local resident said that it has been there for over a week and has had several parking tickets which have now been removed.

How do you know the vehicle is insured ?
You can only use MID if you own the vehicle or if you are involved in an accident with it.

Of course, it may have been checked by someone with the authority to do so (e..g. Police Officer), but they will have committed an offence in telling you.

So Roving-Eye …. are you the criminal or do you rely on criminals for information ?

You cannot check if a vehicle is insured via MID unless you are the vehicle owner, been involved in an accident with the vehicle you wish to check or are an authorised person ( police officer etc )
