Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you deal with your problems in a more positive way.
Your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviours are interconnected, which often trap you in a vicious circle.
CBT helps you break free from these vicious circles to improve the way you feel through teaching you techniques to challenge your thinking and change your behaviours.
CBT ultimately teaches you to become your own therapist whereby through the techniques taught in sessions, you learn to tackle problems on your own without the help of a therapist.
CBT has been shown to be particularly helpful for dealing with General Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Eating Disorders, OCD, Social Anxiety Disorder, Health Anxiety, Phobias, Panic attacks, Low-Self Esteem and Anger Management.
