Yg52dav or vad
Workman possibly, wearing high viz, coming out of Royal Birkdale, highly agitated driving behind me. Bending down, rooting through pockets, ferociously chewing gum - must be to look hard, veering across the road and back and trying to intimidate me by driving up my rear end, cursing, pointing, sticking two fingers up etc. If you think for one minute your arrogant arsehole attitude is going to make me drive faster then you are wrong. I was driving at the speed limit and dont intend to drive faster and endanger my daughters life for you.
You sir, are a prize dick! Really hoping you crash down Duke Street! Might knock some sense into you, highly doubt it though!

Nothing more annoying than those that drive at what they think is the speed limit. The speedo in your car can be reading at up to 10% over the speed you are going. Why not drive at the same speed as the car in front of you and not be one of those people that has a half mile backup behind them because they think they are doing some sort of moral duty.
People driving below the limit are more dangerous on the road than those that don't.

This sounds like a load of bollocks. Have you some reliable data source to support it?

I totally agree, keep up with the Traffic in front, if they're are driving over the speed limit, then so am I, (unless there's a Police car behind me, of course!)

Thanks guys for the advice and as for Pepe and Davie there was traffic in front which I was keeping a safe distance from hence why he kept veering out and then back in again - there was not a clear road for him to overtake to.

The clue is in the word, it is the limit, the maximum allowed!

A) I have heard this on here before, so will generally keep it to 18mph in 20mph zones just to be on the safe side.
B) Lol. If you did that on the driving test, it would be an instant fail. Anyway, why risk a speeding fine and points just to keep some impatient twerp behind you happy?
C) Imo, it's people who overtake when there's not enough room to do so safely, who are the danger to the rest of us.

A speedo will ALWAYS read above your actual speed and not below, so up your speed to 22mph and you will be fine.
Next time you go through Ince Woods check to see how accurate your speedo is, or check it on your sat nav.
There's nothing worse than a car who travels below to speed limit when the conditions are perfect. You tend to find these drivers will then slow down as they approach a speed camera.

The speedometer in your car will read up to 10% higher than the speed you are going. If you are travelling at 30mph according to the speedometer in your car you are going below the speed limit.

There is no real excuse for getting caught speeding, cameras are clearly marked and you can spot the mobile vans from quite a distance away, and they are often parked in the same spots anwyay.
