    Who would you believe?

I have a dilemma. When at a birthday party with good friends; one friend turned up not with her partner of several years but with another man acting flirtatiously with him, so much so that some people thought it was her partner. She was seen kissing this man by another good friend, but when told she’d been seen she strenuously denied this. Who would you believe? Why would you bring another man not known to anyone at the party with you?

It happens far more than people think. I worked at a bar in town. Some customers would come in during the week with a partner, behaving more than just friendly and then would come in at the weekend with their legitimate partners. My only problem was ensuring that I did not say anything out of place - after all, its their business, not mine.

Many years ago I was at a party with my then husband, later on in the evening he was found in bed with someone else. She was a mutual friend of us both. He had been seeing her for a few months unbeknown to me or her husband who was at the same party.
    Understandably the party finished abruptly.
It has been said that when helping people change their behaviour – “the spirit in which help is offered” is the most important aspect, more than the degree of skills and knowledge of the helper!

The dilemma is which friend to believe. As most of you have said what they at/are not upto is down to them.

My advice would be - find a hobby to fill your time.

well you know there are couples that enjoy the frisson of open relationships, and the tease of a bit of cuckoldry.have had customers openly buying for each other as well as their sideliners,at xmas and other occasions too.different strokes for different folks.oh and abit of discretionaly blind eye to whats none of ones concern.could be also shes not getting the attention from her partner or commitment and is trying to bring him to book ,by her behaviour.either way ,leave m to it.therel be no thanks in it.

Some interesting responses. Given the question was which friend would you believe? Clearly lost of you’ve decided the person was cheating. Interesting.

And no he has more hair! 😂

A few years ago I was in Featherstone looking for the rugby ground and I stopped by an old chap walking along the pavement. "How do you get to the Rugby ground" I asked, he replied "I generally go in the car with our Arthur"
