Just a bit! This was taken Boxing Day, we've had more since then. It's also been brutally cold, -32 yesterday morning. A balmy -17 this morning, think I'll go for a swim.

Southport - the weather is gloomy, cold and a little bit wet.

The power goes off regularly around here, especially in the Winter. We get very strong winds and snow squalls coming in off the lake. It's a heavily wooded area, and trees often fall on power lines. We have a big assed standby genny just in case.

Mr Hamble and junior sympathise ! They went to Northern Finland last year in -32.

Junior broke his foot the week before and could not ski.
They booked a sleigh ride.Unfortunately my poor vegetarian son was subjected to reindeer and wolf skin wraps by the guides to protect his foot from frostbite.
