Vince Gill has joined The Eagles

I only found out last night that the great country guitarist/singer/songwriter Vince Gill has joined The Eagles taking lead vocals on a lot of the songs that the late Glen Frey used to sing.

Vince Gill is one of the best country vocalists ever. Generous, too, in providing perfect harmony vocals for lesser-known acts' recordings. (Hope he doesn't feel the need to do soundalikey versions of the Eagles material rather than putting his own stamp on it.)

Glenn Frey’s son Deacon joined the Eagles for a while recently, looks like it didn’t work out.
Not surprised it s Vince, he and Glenn were great friends.
My personal opinion would be that it is time to stop now, been a fan since they started, saw them at Knebworth Haiti just after Joe joined on the Hotel California tour.
