Vince Cable's Speech.
Quote
"Too many older people who voted for Brexit were "driven by nostalgia" for a world where "faces were white," Sir Vince Cable has said.
.....................
"Looking around the auditorium, we are very, very white," he told the party faithful.
"We must prioritise making our party more ethnically diverse."

That guy has not moved on much from Noah and his Ark! He has as much knowledge about the people of the country he lives in as one of the secular tribe members from deepest South America.

Dreadful man so out of touch with modern Britain.
I find his views racist against white Europeans.

I'm afraid the LibDems are a spent force in UK politics, after getting in bed with the Tories in a desperate bid for any kind of power.
They were warned at the time that doing so would take years to get past, and it seems to have materialised. Since Clegg they've struggled to even find a leader, never mind fight back from the political wilderness.
Cable may have a point about Brexit and about his own party. To become relevant they have to change and appeal to younger, more diverse voters. The two main parties have realised this, the likes of UKIP and the LibDems have fallen by the wayside. What have they got to offer, after all?

Labour would have 'got in bed with the Tories' if they had been invited.
Is it more to do with Nick Clegg?
Clegg ended the 'protest vote' party era and failed to deliver on tuition fees when the Tories pointed out to him that penniless EU students coming to the UK claiming interest free loans plus cost of living subsidiary and housing benefit was not a good idea.
Pity Labour did not get the message when it was in power.
Any political leader who appeals to voters solely on their ethnicity or Nationality is an utter disgrace.
Yes I am annoyed he did that speech in Southport too!
I shall call it his rivers of old people speech.
