Train cuts - It's getting WORSE

The hourly service to Manchester Piccadilly & Airport is being slashed to 2 services per day, now we find out that the option of changing at Wigan to the Transpennine Scotland services is being taken away as they will no longer stop at Wigan. This is going to mean even more overcrowding on the rattlers.

Are they still going ahead with the rail cuts? I thought everyone was against them. Not to worry - Liverpool are to get new services that will be even faster from Liverpool to Manchester! Southport does not really count for much as we have three main routes into the town.
