Thinking about buying a Picasso.

With two new grandkids my little car will not accommodate the prams etc.
Does anyone on here have one and would you recommend them?

We had a Picasso for years as once son became a teenager he grew at an alarming rate and it was one of a few cars that had a lot of leg room in back. We had the car for 7 years and it never broke down or failed an MOT. Yes we did get it serviced every year but apart from that and the MOT that was it. Oh and one set of tyres.

Yes, definitely! I had a Picasso Xsara - very spacious, very comfortable and a good view all around. A really good runner short and long distances and economical too. I had not initially thought of buying a Picasso because I preferred a more sporty looking car but at the time funds were limited and there was not a great choice of a decent second hand car. Even my mates thought it a weird purchasing a family car but they certainly changed their minds when they realised that they could all get into it comfortably. If you look at the cars in a car park - there are a good number of Picasso cars, so they are very popular.

My sister and her family have had one for about 15 years! They bought it new when the kids were young and they needed it for all their clutter. It's done them through both boys going off to uni, transferring all their belongings backwards and forwards and moving out into their own places They use it as a second car now, but it's great for when there is a crowd of us, or carrying bulky items, dogs etc. Never once let them down.

Looks great! When you go to get it, don't appear to be eager - make out that you are not quite sure about it as it is a bit above what you wanted to pay - ask if they will accept £2000? It is all part of the game!
