Is Owen Jones sinking the ship?

There has not been a quality newspaper in the UK for a couple of decades now. All the news received in the UK is sourced from American news agencies and limited for publication by EU ruling.
Nice if we did have our own news sources in the UK, and a UK outlook on the published Global news - instead of the brash and overly sensationalist US style news which is published on a limited 'need to know' basis.

All of the British newspapers are dire. They are a moribund format and can barely afford to employ journalists these days. The Telegraph is marginally less bad than The Guardian (and certainly the dreadful hypocrite Polly Toynbee and wee Owen Jones don't add any credibility to the latter rag). All of the broadsheets have become just large format tabloids; their websites are full of celebrity clickbait schlock.
