The Shakespeare pub
Is there a local news blackout about the Shakespeare pub? The road has been closed off opposite lidl as bricks have hit cars and pedestrians when scaffold collapsed, when building fell wrong way. Even the other site that was reporting have made it impossible to log on to this one story.? Has the out of town firm had to go to local companies to help them out etc? Just asking??

The site is accessible with no problems here.
Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

I have not heard anything about that. I do know that the demolition procedures appear to be unusual, but I thought that was because of another building being in close proximity to it. However, as the Shakespeare is being brought down it is obvious that any new building will not be built as solid as that was.

The other site carried the story. Yesterday a wall just collapsed with rubble said to have missed pedestrians, but affected a car.
