Travellers on Morrisons are selling dogs to the public. Most of the dogs are chiquaquas and many of them are underage.

Dogs lost UK has been receiving a huge number of calls, protesting against this cruel trade, and the local agent has been busy trying to resolve the issue. But the Police nor the RSPCA are taking any interest.

Surely at the very least - one needs a trading licence to sell to the public? Is it not illegal to sell underage puppies? The travellers admit that they have hundreds more dogs for sale.

It is highly unlikely that these animals have been given a health check. There are a large number of misguided people purchasing these animals - presumably, they have done so to protect the animals and that is understandable - but by purchasing the dogs they are encouraging the travellers to continue and put more dogs at risk.

the lucky one are those purchased the rest are used as breeders or training bait for their dog fights.then also people who use them for cash in hand cheapo jobs are also feeding them ,yet sadly their bullying of those vulnerable to part with their savings for jobs also sustains the lifestyle.the brwery stripping out was as I am imformed ,due to the refusal to pay them 20k to leave the place alone and just occupy,and as the police dint have the resources ,then it was anarchy,surly those resources could have been had from our armed an volunteer services.also the scrap was being disposed of within an hours travelling distance.surerly the regional scrap merchants should have had a visit!!!!its a sad reflection they bring on the very vitriol of there being to others yet proclaim their rights above the rest of society that gave them those rights.yet you or me transgress a dropped fag packet then we have no leniency.ive also noticed that their behaviours have becomemore prevalent these last couple of years too!maybe its not isis we have to worry about.

The puppies in the hands of these scum bags are a concern, but also is it not about time that these anti-social pains in the a** were treated with the same regard as they give to others?

One of the settled gypsies from just outside of town was called in to talk to the travellers at Morrisons. The travellers admitted selling the dogs and said that they could get hold of hundreds more within the hour - that is the information that I received from the agent from Lost Dogs UK.

A woman at their Head Office said that she had been inundated with calls from Southport and had asked both the Police and the RSPCA for help.

The traveller's as jammyrammy says, have become far more confident over recent years and are actually taunting the Police and local communities. It is only a very tiny minority of travellers who behave in a traditional traveller way - the greater majority are simply out for all they can get in any way they can!

Due to the huge public outcry with regard to the Blackburn Brewery - the Police were forced to act and have now arrested five persons.

If that was the exact wording from another site - then it stands to reason it would be me who placed it there! I contacted a number of agencies, as did other people who were disgusted by these people being allowed publicly to be so cruel to animals simply for greed.

If it concerns you about what I wrote - please contact the local representative Jan Lancashire of Lost Dogs UK, and I have no doubt at all that she will confirm my telephone call yesterday afternoon and will repeat this information to you. Unless of course, you consider unreasonably, that everyone is a liar, and that this young lady is also lying? If so, you really have a problem!

Give me a quiet, gentle, dignified, elegant greyhound any day. The ex-racers are so in need of good homes. Sadly tens of thousands are shot every year apparently, when no longer any use for racing. They’re just 40mph couch potatoes.
