No. You go to a proper pub that doesn't serve food.

I never try to push in, it's simply a nice gesture. In a bar you have no idea what is about to be ordered so you can't really compare.

HomeBargains is a very busy store, due to their low prices on goods being sold there, and are always very busy, and they will open another till if queues do get too long, and as you are saving money going there, then why complain about you only having a couple of items, and a person NOT letting you go in front of them ? Go to your local shop instead, and pay the extra it will cost next time you only need a couple of items.............
What IS more annoying, are the customers coming into the store 5 minutes before they are due to close, and then do a full trolley shop, when the staff are supposed to be clearing up,and are then being delayed from cashing up the takings, and the obvious cleaning of the place, ready for the next days trading........

I agree! It cost nothing to be pleasant to people. I have often stepped back to allow others with just two or three purchases to go first and likewise others have given me the same grace.

Nope! Accept that you got there after the person in front and wait your turn patiently!

If I had a full week's shopping, all the other checkouts were just as busy and the person behind had only 2 or 3 items I'll ask if they want to hop in ahead of me. If I notice. I'm often in a world of my own. If asked by them I'll let them cut in so long as they ask nicely.
Once had someone that did that and then her friend rocked up with an armful of stuff and said "Thanks love" and proceeded to also push in. I was too polite to tell her where to go (and she weighed at least twice what I do so .....)
I'm only happy when it rains....

I've never complained, I'll say again it's a nice gesture.
You could argue that a shop is open til 8pm not closes at 8pm so if people choose to do a big shop whilst the store is open then they should be glad of the trade, take a look at the news with stores closing more or less daily.

Not good! Probably just another fad thing until something new comes along!
