Yes they are but the project has been down sized .

They haven't downsized that much, they are still using the former Homebase, MFI & allied Carpet units.

I think the original plan was to have it on two levels but this idea has not been scrapped for one level .

No longer on stilts (would have allowed parking underneath) and instead of coming out into the carpark it will be inline with the rest of the shops.

dont think its comets old unit thats on the other end of block i think the old mfi and allied carpets are what sainsburys are after

There was a consultation letter sent out to residents in July. AFAIK nothing further has happened and as stated the old Comet unit is not included.

If all the utilities and services are fully working they may be using the unit as a site office, canteen etc.

Reduced from 60000 square feet to 50000 so not a huge reduction
