Lancaster Road between Grosvenor Road/Lulworth Road.
They maybe ran out of white road marker because half the roads potholes have been marked, and the rest of them haven't.
Anyway, maybe this thread should be a list of roads which DON'T have potholes. I cant think of any though.

Terry, you have to be commended for your sterling effort in compiling a list of roads which have deteriorated, requiring long needed treatment.
On a more serious note, why are you doing the work for Sefton's Highways Inspectorate?
Surely we pay enough in Council Tax to expect the incumbent inspectors to do the job we pay them to do, after all it's not rocket science identifying holes in roads, is it?
I don't think there's been any redundancies in their department and as I understand it they have a legal duty to maintain the highways, which includes identifying problem areas.
A legal defence that highways authorities use in cases of claims against them is to provide an inspection record.
I think in the case of Sefton Council they would be hard pressed to provide such a defence.
Questions need to be asked why have the roads in Southport been allowed to deteriorate to such an extent that it is now virtually impossible to find a road anywhere in Southport that doesn't need some form of surface treatment.

Kensington Rd, outside the hand car wash, it's nearly a foot deep.
Don't tell anyone about your troubles. Half of them don't care, and the other half are glad it happened to you.
It's ok if you disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

We all Know the mess that the gypo's can leave and other tradesmen then have to rectify their mess; which is probably what is needed in relation to surface dressing/micro surface which has been so badly laid.
I’m with Pedoja on this one.
True the gypos/travellers are no craftsmen but Sefton council don’t exactly employ anyone better. Look at that firm they use over and over again - they resurfaced Lord St and a year later it needed remedial work and that is only one example of their poor “craftsmanship”.
You are absolutely right Pedoja, the gypos seem to make a poor job of everything they do but in comparison the council employ worse, making the gypos look good by comparison.
