Appears to be the latter. More staff than customers most the time.

They seem to have hung on to the coat tails of the television programme of the same name. The customer reviews do not appear to be very good.

I attended a quiz night at Peaky Blinders (my first visit) on Wednesday and it was very well attended. The staff are great, very attentive and the landlady served lovely platters of sandwiches half way through the evening. A very enjoyable evening in lovely surroundings - good luck to them.

Peaky Blinders in Churchtown has proved an excellent addition to the village's food and drink facilities and I've enjoyed my occasional visits there with friends since it first opened.

I also know people who live near the venue and they have always been in favour of it, regarding it as a valuable part of village life.

But you will always get some who will complain about such venues, often for little or no reason.
