My Vintage tv channel has disappeared.
Used to be freeview 82.Now it's gone.
Tried to retune tv with postcode says its still there,it's not.
Love playing it in background how do I get it back?

Still working here on 82.
Possibly a signal issue

Your tuner isn’t picking it up for some reason, it’s there, I’ve just tried again on 82.
Could be signal strength or aerial problem, are all your other channels ok ?

I bought a new TV a couple of months ago. Every other day it seems to pop up.with a notice saying 'map has changed, do you want to re-tune?'. If I dintbthe the pic becomes pixellated and voices are incoherent but if I do then I lose channels all the time.
At present 47 is missing but the other day BBC1 & 2 had vanished along with several others.

When tuning do you get the option to select region (North West) some TV’s do.
If not you may be picking up weaker signals from another transmitter (Wales) as auto tune picks these up first.

Its the transmitter on Winter Hill, it is shrouded in smoke which is clouding out the television screens!
Try changing the tuning frequency!

Possibly affecting some weaker channels / tuners but not a major issue.
This is a screen shot of BBC1 signal info this morning showing full signal strength and quality.
Vintage seems a little unstable, fluctuating on Strength, Quality and Bit Rate Errors but still giving a stable picture and sound.
Vintage signal information bottom pic.

4G signals can also cause issues with digital TV signals, you can get in-line filters or aerials with built in filters

Works fine on my TV's and PVR, I just retuned mine to get the additional RB channels for Wimbledon.

Thanks for the advice Steed, there isn't an option on auto tune but I'll try on manual tuning.
