    Merry Christmas

    Tomorrow will be our 54th wedding anniversary. We got married in St. Edmund's Church in Oslo. The only benefit of a December wedding is that we are so busy decorating the house for Christmas that we have no time to really celebrate and I don't need to buy anniversary gifts because we are so busy buying Christmas presents.

    Merry Christmas to everyone from a snow covered and fairly cold Norway.

    Sorry about the picture - I couldn't find out how to resize it.

    Well Derek, it seems that we are of the generation who don't
    give up on marriage.

    My late husband died a few months before our
    50th, that was 5 years ago. No one can ever replace him .

    I wish you many more years of a happy marriage and good health..
    Enjoy your life together with your lovely family.

    Yes Di, you're absolutely right! My wife and I make it 55 years today ( Sorry Derek, not trying to steal your thunder )

    Anyway Derek, Many Congratulations to you both and I too, wish you many more years of contentment. It's always good to hear of KGV contemporaries enjoying long successful and happy lives.

    PS I have resized your beautiful picture for you. If you right click on it, it should give you the option 'save image as', and then you can save as you wish
    Also, on most windows computers, right clicking on the photo in your album will offer the options to 'Open with'. If you choose to open with paint, resizing is very easy from there. I am of course, assuming your computer works like mine!
    Hope this has helped anyway

    Thanks to all that replied and sent good wishes - especially to KissThis for resizing the photo - the quality improved considerably as a result. We had a fantastic evening out yesterday - put all Christmas chores aside for once and just went out for a drink and a meal. Most enjoyable.
