Mere Brow man swindles £20,000 Benefits

"Fraudster Paul Johnson, 53, declared to benefit bosses that he 'couldn't walk more than 20 yards' but was working as an HGV driver and operating Mere Brow Gun Dogs.

The businessman, of Preston, Lancashire, had claimed he used a walking stick and that he had to be accompanied when outside in case he fell, and exaggerated his conditions during a home visit by a health worker.

His lies led to him being paid more than £20,000 in benefits that he was not entitled, Preston Crown Court heard"

So basically, he’s robbed the public purse of £20k, and only has to do 200 hours payback, at say the minimum wage, = £1600. And they say that crime doesn’t pay.

Well Crime is the biggest growth area since the "strong on crime and strong on the causes of crime" Tories came onto the scene and cut Police numbers to the bone. I wouldn't mind betting this low life scum bag, who not only steals from the real Disabled people but also is a "businessman" votes for your like minded half wits.
