Looking for somewhere to spray a car

I'm looking into spraying my car. I'll say from the start that i am not a painter. I can not afford a proper spray booth paint job but i'd like to make a half decent job myself.
I'm going to need somewhere i can park up my car while i mask it off, rub down and clean it before spraying it. So i'm thinking i'll need the area for 3 - 4 days from start to finish.
I need somewhere sheltered with plenty of light, height and floor space to move around my car. Once i start i can't be pulling the masks off the lights , windscreens and other areas to drive home , so i'm looking for somewhere local or localish to the Southport area. An unused or temporarily empty warehouse sometime in late spring.
I fancy doing it myself to at least have a go. I know there are many options available but i just want to have a go myself. Does anyone know of anywhere that might be suitable. The whole paint job probably will stand me at just over £100 in paint and materials as it's on a budget so the lower the price on renting a suitable area the better.
    Thanks in advance.

Good luck doing that, and hopefully someone will let you rent a place to do the car, nothing better than getting satisfaction out of doing your own handy work.

I'm wondering if Railex is empty? A friend recommended the old Homechoice Blinds in Churchtown next to Checkers! I'm going to have a look to see if it's empty still & see if I can find any details https://www.google.com/maps/@53.6588...!6m1!1e1?hl=en

I found out who owns the building on manor road & I discovered Garages around the corner from where I live. The ones on the end of the row would be ideal to get my car inside while still giving me room to move. Unfortunately they are due to be demolished in March.

Remember working with an old man many years ago, he was a professional coach painter, he did his work outside with coach paint & high quality brushes, brushed paint side to side then down at the ends, his work was second to none couldn't see the brush strokes & a lovely thick coat of shiny paint, may be worth looking at a few clips on YouTube for ideas.

I will be using spray cans but while i'm not overly concerned about finished to the point of requiring a spray booth I am concerned about Airborne dust from the local fields & Flies getting stuck in the paint. Also in the slightest wind the paint will be snatched away.
I'm not using a Paint Gun & Compressor because of lack of familiarity. It would mean I am required to learn something new with all the mistakes that come with it.I'll stick to what I know & hope I can find some cover.
