Larry Parr - Meols Cop teacher 1960's

I was at Farnborough Rd when he was there and the boys would tell us he watched them get dry after swimming lessons and sometimes shower with them and change after games, so I believe this is true. He gave everyone the creeps. I don't know if he's still alive tho?

Parr died in May 2015. I too had the misfortune to be taught by this man aged 11.He seemingly got great pleasure out of hitting little boys. Although, as has already been said, he seemed to get an even greater pleasure, watching them have a shower after games.

I must have dozed off and missed the obituary and eulogy to the Great Bully .

Him, together with Hall, must have been the two most vilified individuals to hold positions at that establishment. A view held both by staff and pupils ,as I remember.

In this day and age it seems incredible that he got away with his actions; but that was just the way it was then.

To be perfectly honest, and not wishing to give any offence I have to say that both myself, and other contributors to this topic have no interest whatsoever in what you may, or may not have done, either in reality or within the realms of your imagination.

The only person we are interested in discussing here involves the activities of Mr. Laurence Parr, no one else.

You seem an intelligent sort of chappie so we are all sure that you will not take the slightest offence to this.

If evil has a name,then it would be Laurence Parr.Everything said about the sadistic pervert on this site is true,and more besides.We were beaten with cricket bats & wickets;slippers;canes and other 'weapons'.He would use his bare hands too.A favourite was to pin a boy to the wall,grab his hair at the temples,pull upwards until the boy was on his tip toes and screaming in agony.


The headmaster Mr Hall was nearly as bad,he knew what was going on,and how Parr used to ogle us in the showers,but did nothing.


I understand that they both died in recent times,may they NEVER rest in peace,because,I am still tormented by my experiences at the hands of these two vile men.

to put things straight,this man was hanging about the showers,watching and learing, he was without question very odd,it is stated he would join the boys and shower with them scum like this should be investigated,where is this parr man now??

FOund out has some football trophy named after him the Laurie Parr cup should be called the peadophile cup.

Dont see why it is dross, i to remember the israeli boy and would have liked to meet again when i was older.. Dont remember Parr but the description reminds me of the Physics teacher Stan Woods.
