Labour knew about the rape gangs and did nothing

It seems that the Labour Government in 2002 knew about the Rotherham grooming gangs and chose to do absolutely nothing about them. The innaction of Blair and his Home Secretary David Blunkett undoubtedly led to many more hundreds of girls being mollested and raped. The council and the MP for the area were, of course, Labour too.

    Rape gangs

More drivel from Dav. There is not a lot down for getting old, nasal hair, dribbling over a toilet bowl late at night, not having had a jump since flairs were in fashion and becoming a reactionary pub bore like Dav.

Official 2017 report findings mentioning the Labour Party.

    Quote
"The failure to address the abuse was attributed to a combination of factors revolving around race, class and gender—contemptuous and sexist attitudes toward the mostly working-class victims; fear that the perpetrators' ethnicity would trigger allegations of racism and damage community relations; the Labour council's reluctance to challenge a Labour-voting ethnic minority; lack of a child-centred focus; a desire to protect the town's reputation; and lack of training and resources.

Rotherham Council's chief executive, its director of children's services, and the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire Police all resigned.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission and the National Crime Agency both opened inquiries, the latter expected to last eight years.

The government appointed Louise Casey to conduct an inspection of Rotherham Council.
Published in January 2015, the Casey report concluded that the council had a bullying, sexist culture of covering up information and silencing whistleblowers, and was "not fit for purpose".

In February 2015 the government replaced the council's elected officers with a team of five commissioners.

As a result of new police inquiries, 19 men and two women were convicted in 2016 and 2017 of sexual offences in the town dating back to the late 1980s; one of the ringleaders was jailed for 35 years.

A bit rich when Tories start pointing the finger, at least Blair and Blunkett didn't join in. Teddy loved to let children play with his organ.

I think this Dav character lives in a secluded spot with no access to news if he thinks the Tories are performing in a satisfactory way. Crime is exploding and Police numbers are down to levels of the mid 90's funnily enough when the Tories were in power.

When will Tories admit they are just SH*TE as a government and after having a referendum are clueless as what to do next, the Railways are in turmoil, the Benefit system is in meltdown, the NHS is beyond a joke. I don't like Corbyn but even Coco the Clown would be better than any Tory.

If he thinks Breitbart is a credible news source i presume dav is one of these easily influenced under 21 year olds who shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I would welcome an admission of 'sorry we were wrong' from the posters who tried and proved guilty the false claims on Lord Janner and Leon Brittan.

    It's the message that's important,not the messenger.

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

It is nice to see a posters factual reply.

I am sure the pool girls have no interest in who the council members are, Labour Conservative, Liberal etc..

It is society that let them down.

As well as the police and the leaders of the relevant religious body.

Leaders, I refer to the members that sit in and on the Sharia courts who operate behind closed doors. The Court people must have been made aware by the police of what was happening in their community.

Muhammad The Prophet (peace be upon Him) said " Love a none Muslim more than a Muslim"

As His Holiness Jesus The Christ said " Love thy neighbour as thy self."

Religions have swayed away from the strait line or path their founders showed.

The Problems of today is not Political,

    but Spiritual.

I now go back to my Antique World.

I find it totally amazing that accusers are paid £thousands in damages without there having been an extensive investigation. It would also appear very odd that files went missing??
It is even more amazing that the accusers have been allowed to keep the money paid to them in consideration of the extraordinary lengths that the HMRC and the DHSS go to get overpaid money back.
Even more astonishing is the fact that Mrs. Brittain was paid a huge sum in damages by the Police Authorities for their actions - yet the accusers were not charged with false admissions.
Rather an odd state of affairs really.

It is interesting that Roy Jenkins passed legislation for homosexuality to be legalised in 1967, after the Wolfendon report that agreed with this decision. It was later discovered that Wolfendon had a hidden agenda in that his own son was gay. There are now more LGBT MP's in Parliament than there are in any other concerns in the UK. One particular MP continually denies having homosexual affairs - yet it is known for a fact in certain circles that he definitely did.

The Rotherham grooming gangs are often taken in isolation - but similar criminal activity has occurred in every region of the UK, som eto a much greater extent. The Government and the Police Authorities are well aware of this - and it has been published by many newspapers. Thousands of naive young girls and many young males have been affected but if the actual figures were widely published it was thought it would lead to large scale rioting.
The authorities have been reluctant to charge ethnic minority immigrants 85% from Asia, in several cases the victim's have been blamed and charged. Even now, the authorities are adopting a 'Let's talk about it' process rather than find out who the perpetrators are

More credible than The Guardian and BBC "News". They prefer to ignore the fruits of "cultural enrichment".
