Tesco play at being Aldi and Lidl. Seems a bit odd seeing as they already pretend to be corner shops with their OneStop brand.

Cannot think why. They should use their One Stop Shops to launch cheaper prices. Tesco is far too large a concern to be able to meet the changes in the market while Lidl is very fast to act.

Tesco would do better in concentrating on their core retail business, signs up in Kew apologising for lack of stock asking us the bear with them!

Quite possibly - the one stop shops do not seem to be doing very well since the range is far lower than Tesco's and prices are higher in general. The local Spar shops are highly competitive but very often privately owned shops offer better value.
